APULIA STREET FOOD

This is the story of Max and his Apulia Street Food Truck.

It was back in 2014 when visiting the Salone del Gusto in Turin I was thunderstruck by the Street Food Pavilion and the endless queue at the Bombette Pugliesi booth... Seeing all that passion around Street Food was pure inspiration... At the base of it all was the love and passion for cooking, the continuous search to combine the ancient flavors of traditional Apulian cuisine with the imagination and creativity of new combinations.
And so it was that in 2015 it was decided to embark on this new adventure called "Apulia Street Food" by purchasing a hyper-equipped Food Truck, a real Restaurant on 4 wheels, an adventure that aimed to bring the flavors of True Traditional Apulian Cuisine around Italy and hopefully soon abroad.
It is the story of many dawn departures, many sleepless nights and long journeys to reach the most beautiful cities in Italy, especially in the North where to bring and have people taste the typical dishes and true flavors of our Apulia.
Year after year, our Street Chef Max continues to study, take cooking classes and specialize in Traditional Apulian Cuisine...
Passion becomes work and so he enrolls in the Italian Federation of Chefs (BAT) - Participates in the 13th Edition of "Chefs D'Italia in 2021" TV show with Alessandro Borghese passing the initial stages with merit and then is the protagonist of many VideoRecipes and Cooking Blogs.
Our specialty is octopus, which we cook in a variety of ways, and our Chef is now the "Italian Champion" of octopus ragout... We therefore invite you to come and try it...
There is no shortage, however, of all the other Pugliese specialties presented in a Gourmet key such as the Bombette Pugliesi proposed with a convenient skewer or with a fantastic Gourmet Sandwich with Burrata IGP di Andria and sun-dried tomatoes, Orecchiette with Cime di Rapa pesto and Cuor di Burrata, Murgiana sausage at knife point, and many other specialties that we bring from time to time.
What more can I tell you...I just have to invite you to follow us on this wonderful adventure and try our True Pugliese Cuisine.
