Gin Kris

GIN Kris

Gin Kris is a craft gin produced through a unique triple cold distillation process. The result is an enveloping, delicately balsamic and pleasantly spicy blend, perfect for a gin and tonic, as well as for blending and meditation, thanks in part to an alcohol content of 38%.

58 fine botanicals from around the world differentiate Gin Kris from any product on the market. The number of botanicals is not, however, a marketing gimmick: the Gin Kris recipe is the culmination of a journey that has lasted years and is all now in constant evolution. The goal is always and only to obtain the best result from a qualitative and organoleptic point of view, enhancing and balancing aromas and flavors.

MADE IN ITALY

Native botanicals are grown on proprietary land, while highly selected botanicals imported from around the world-including rare and valuable spices-are processed by hand and delivered to the distillery, which, to this day, does not know the recipe and proportions of the cold infusions.

QUALITY AND TRADITION

Gin Kris was born from years of experiments guided by a passion for cooking, blending, agronomy and herbalism. It is a highly artisanal Italian product but with international aspirations.

MIXOLOGY

In gin and tonic, to preserve the organoleptic qualities of the product, we recommend pairing it with a neutral tonic, such as Indian Fever Tree or Recoaro Tonic Water. For the same reason, it is recommended to avoid any kind of garnish. Gin Kris is the ideal gin for a Negroni or martini cocktail, especially in the Hemingway variant, which allows the qualities to be further enhanced.

AROMAS AND FLAVORS

Cold infusion of the 58 botanicals gives Gin Kris the amber color and lingering hints that distinguish it. These include more than 10 types of pepper: from Sarawak black pepper to Sichuan pepper, Nepalese long pepper and Jamaican Pimiento. Lavender, thyme, marjoram, sage and savory-among others-are grown in the province of Reggio Emilia. Imported, however, are bergamot from Calabria, Ceylon cinnamon from Sri Lanka, vanilla from Madagascar, and Indian cardamom. The botanicals are processed by hand in the Scandiano laboratory while distillation takes place in Modena.
