Hayman's Of London
Unlike other gins distilled today, our full range of gins are produced just as they would have been when our family first began distilling over 160 years ago.
Hayman's is the original family gin distiller, dedicated to producing London's tastiest gin and winning awards around the world.
For Hayman's, gin is a family tradition. It began with the great-great-grandfather of Miranda and James, who pioneered the distinctive taste of London Dry Gin. You can taste it in everything Hayman's produces, from classic recipes for London Dry and Old Tom to new variations like the wonderfully refreshing Exotic Citrus and the innovative London Light.
LONDON LIGHT DRY GIN
LOW ALCOHOLSapiently distilled to retain the flavor of botanicals, Hayman's London Light at 12.5% ABV is pleasantly citrusy, deliciously smooth with notes of juniper. Enjoy it with a cold Double Dutch tonic and a touch of lemon for a great low-alcohol flavor. The G&T with the 70% in less alcohol!
LONDON DRY GIN
London Dry Gin is constant balance of juniper, coriander, lemon and orange peel (which is vital in the creation of this traditional style). Orris root, cinnamon, cassia bark and nutmeg impart the dry characteristics and add depth of flavor. The history of Hayman gin distillation began in 1863 when James Burrough, a charismatic London pharmacist, opened a small distillery on Cale Street, Chelsea.
OLD TOM GIN
The Old Tom style is famous for the intensity of its botanical elements contrasted with a slight sweetness, which allows for a more complex experience than other types of gin.Old Tom Gin traditionally is made from grain brandy, and distilled in a still with juniper berries, the dominant element among the ingredients. The name "Old Tom Gin" comes from what can be considered the first example of a soda machine in England. The perfect ingredient in classic cocktails such as Martínez, Tom Collins and Ramos Gin Fizz.
SLOE GIN
Sloe Gin is a traditional English liqueur made from a long-standing family recipe. Made from hand-picked wild sloes in the fall after the first frosts. The first frosts lock in the sugary plum notes; the sloes are gently steeped for several months in the Gin. The final blend is a ruby red with bitter sweet fruit flavors.
ROYAL DOCK GIN
First supplied to the British Admiralty in 1863, Hayman's still proudly produces Navy Strength Royal Dock Gin. The style is bright, invigorating and smooth with a perfect balance of juniper, coriander and citrus. Wonderful in a traditional gimlet, originally created by mixing the daily dose of gin provided to sailors, with the lime ration offered to combat scurvy. The lively citrus, juniper and coriander flavors in Hayman's Royal Dock make this gin the perfect match for spicy Indian food, as the robust flavors stand up well to traditional Indian spices.
GENTLY RESTED GIN
A wonderfully smooth, round and well-balanced gin with peppery and spicy notes from the dominant botanicals-juniper and coriander-that add to its full-flavored individuality. In the same way that gin was rested in barrels rather than bottles during the 1800s, ours is rested in old Scotch whiskey barrels for only three weeks.Such brief contact with wood really lifts our botanical aromas and enhances the peppery spice.
PEACH & ROSE GIN
Our Peach and Rose Cup combines our London Dry with notes of fresh peach, sweet rose scented and juicy fruit from our orchards. Produced in small batches, perfect for milder weather and light summer moments.
EXOTIC CITRUS GIN
The enticing and exotic citrus flavors of Kumquat, Pomelo, Persian Lime and Mandarin with our award-winning London Dry Gin. The result is a delicious and elegant gin full of fresh and vibrant exotic citrus. Distilled using our exclusive two-day long distillation process. Perfect for a G&T with an exotic twist.
GIN LIQUEUR
Bold character gin with a touch of natural sugar that brings the sweetness traditionally associated with a liqueur
SPICED SLOE GIN
Rich in red fruits and warm notes, it has a subtle sweetness balanced by evocative and fragrant spicy notes reminiscent of mulled wine. Remarkably versatile, Spiced Sloe Gin can be enjoyed neat or sparkling for a Spiced Sloe Royale. It is also delicious served warm with apple juice and festive spices.
